Grateful if arrangements can be made for immediate recruitment of further 19 sub-inspectors. Selection by Pennefather-Evans through Crown Agents,

2 Candidates must (repeat must) be unmarried and should have not more than three years' civil police experience.

Ex-Falestine candidates with above qualifications may be considered with V.K. candidates, but in the interests of efficiency, which you will agree must be kept at highest level, I must reduce average age of inspectorate, and should for this reason be opposed to recruitment of Palestine men merely for the purpose of resettlement.
